2.5 Million Annual Visitors
The Markets at Common Ground
Nestled between Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market on the Eastside Trail, Common Ground at 550 Somerset is Atlanta's newest destination for discovery. Our curated markets bring together the finest local artisans, growers, and purveyors in an 85,000-square-foot landmark setting — open every day of the week.
Capture over 2.5 million BeltLine visitors. Common Ground is selectively welcoming vendors who share our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and community.
Whether you're a local grower, artisan, maker, chef, or dealer, our markets offer premium placement on the Atlanta BeltLine's Eastside Trail — with daily foot traffic from one of the city's most sought-after corridors.
Daily Market
Step inside Common Ground any day and find a marketplace alive with possibility. Our Daily Market is a carefully curated collection of resident vendors offering artisan provisions, fresh-cut florals, locally roasted coffee, handcrafted goods, and chef-driven prepared foods — all housed within the industrial elegance of one of the BeltLine's most striking buildings.
Grab a pastry and cortado on your morning walk. Pick up hand-rolled pasta and estate olive oil for tonight's dinner. Browse small-batch candles, ceramics, and jewelry from Atlanta's most talented makers. The Daily Market is designed to be woven into your routine — a place worth returning to every time you pass through.
Starts May 1, 2026
The Daily Market at Common Ground is open seven days a week, and our resident vendors are the heartbeat of this building. We hold them to standards that match the space they're in.
-
Every product on your table should reflect craftsmanship, care, or expertise that sets it apart. We're not a flea market and we're not a mall — if it could sit on a shelf at a big-box retailer, it probably doesn't belong here. We curate for vendors who make, grow, roast, bake, or build something worth coming back for.
-
Whether you're selling prepared food, pantry goods, coffee, florals, or handcrafted products, we expect our daily vendors to prioritize local and regional sourcing. Georgia-made and Southeast-sourced ingredients and materials come first. When something needs to come from further away — specialty coffee beans, imported olive oil, raw materials not available domestically — that's fine, but it should be the exception and not the default.
-
Daily Market vendors are the first impression for everyone who walks in off the BeltLine. Your stall should be clean, well-merchandised, and staffed by someone who knows the product and can talk about it with pride. We provide the stall and the foot traffic — you bring the energy and the experience that keeps people coming back tomorrow.
Saturday Farmers Market
Each Saturday, the grounds at Common Ground transform into one of Atlanta's premier open-air farmers markets. Local farms bring the season's finest produce, pasture-raised proteins, artisan cheeses, and wildflower honey directly to your hands — no middlemen, no compromises.
This is not your average farmers market. Set against the backdrop of the Eastside Trail with New Realm Brewing and Two Urban Licks steps away, our Saturday market pairs the integrity of farm-to-table sourcing with an atmosphere that feels more like an event than an errand. Live music, seasonal tastings, and rotating guest vendors round out a morning that's become one of Atlanta's most anticipated weekly traditions.
Starts May 2, 2026
Farm fresh. Every Saturday 7am - Noon
-
Common Ground Markets holds its farm vendors to some of the highest standards in the Southeast. Every farm selling at our Saturday Farmers Market must carry either Certified Organic or Certified Naturally Grown certification — no exceptions.
-
All laying hens must be raised exclusively on Certified Organic or Certified Naturally Grown feed.
-
Including beef, pork, poultry, rabbit, and goat — animals must be raised exclusively on Certified Organic or Certified Naturally Grown feed throughout their lives. In rare cases of extreme weather where certified hay is genuinely unavailable, cattle may be given herbicide-free hay for up to 20 days per year to prevent starvation or malnutrition. This is a last resort, not a routine practice, and farmers must demonstrate that all certified sources have been exhausted before this exception applies.
-
Every prepared food vendor at Common Ground Markets is expected to cook the way we'd want to eat — with real ingredients, sourced as close to home as possible.
What we don't allow: Corn syrup in any form, hydrogenated oils, artificial dyes, or chemical preservatives. If it wouldn't belong in a home kitchen, it doesn't belong in our market.
Meat sourcing must come from fellow Common Ground vendors or sources approved by our market team. We're building a community here — that starts with our vendors supporting each other.
Ingredient sourcing should prioritize local first, and we ask our vendors to follow this order whenever possible: start with fellow Common Ground vendors, then local Georgia farms, then the broader Southeast, then the continental US. If a recipe calls for something sourced internationally, just run it by our market team for approval. We know great food sometimes needs great ingredients from far away — spices, salts, olive oil, vanilla, and coffee from international sources are all welcome.
We believe these standards aren't just good policy — they're what the BeltLine community deserves when they shop with us. When you buy from a Common Ground farm vendor, you're getting the real thing.
Sunday Farmers, Makers & Design Market
Every Sunday, Common Ground becomes a destination for design. Our Farmers, Makers & Design Market is a juried showcase of the Southeast's most talented independent makers, designers, and small-batch brands — selected for originality, craft, and quality.
Browse handcrafted ceramics, fine jewelry, custom textiles, letterpress prints, artisan skincare, and objects you won't find anywhere else. Each week's lineup is carefully curated to ensure a fresh, complementary mix that rewards discovery and reflects the creative energy of Atlanta's maker community.
This is not a flea market. Every vendor earns their place. The result is a shopping experience with the intentionality of a boutique and the energy of a BeltLine weekend — all steps from New Realm Brewing and Two Urban Licks when you're ready to turn your afternoon into an evening.
Starts May 3, 2026
Made by hand. Sunday 9am - 2pm
-
Everything sold at the Makers & Designer Market must be designed, handcrafted, or significantly transformed by the vendor. Reselling mass-produced goods, dropshipped inventory, or white-labeled products with your sticker on them is not permitted. If you didn't make it, you can't sell it here. We'll ask about your process during the application review — be ready to walk us through how your product goes from idea to finished piece.
-
We curate our vendor mix to avoid redundancy and keep the market fresh for shoppers. We're looking for a point of view — whether that's in your materials, your technique, your design aesthetic, or the story behind your brand. If you're doing something that nobody else at Common Ground is doing, you're exactly who we want.
-
Your display is part of the experience. Products should be thoughtfully arranged, priced clearly, and presented in a way that reflects the quality of your work. No bare cardboard boxes, no handwritten printer-paper signs, no cluttered tables. You've put real craft into what you make — your setup should show that same level of care.
The Sunday Farmers, Makers & Designer Market at Common Ground showcases the people behind the product. Every vendor is selected to ensure our market feels like a gallery of Atlanta's creative community, not a swap meet.
